Blog 8: A subject you enjoyed studying this semester

Imagen
Hi, I'm sorry to tell you that this is my last blog so enjoy it.  Now we will talk about subject that I enjoyed studying this semester, this is the summation of forces which is  subject of physics. In these classes we saw how the different forces act in a system and from this we get the summation of forces. In these classes the contents were the vectors and different forces that can act. Vectors are mathematical entities that graphically represent vector magnitudes of force in this case. The forces are mass by acceleration from which others are derived such as frictional, gravitational and tensile forces. The main ones we saw in class that I liked were gravitation (which corresponds to mass times gravitational acceleration), frictional force (ground coefficient times normal), tension (corresponds to the force used but in the other direction) and torque (the work used times the distance where the force is being applied). I like this topic because it all has a logical expl...

Blog 7: A Career-Related Website OR an Expert in Your Field

Hello again, today I will talk about a character that has influenced me in the art of architecture, his name is Oscar Niemeyer. He was a great Brazilian architect, born in Rio de Janeiro on December 19, 1907. He graduated from the School of Bellas Artes in Rio de Janeiro, in 1932 he began his career to become an architect, graduating in 1934 as an architectural engineer. His major influence in art was Le Corbusier and this is demonstrated in the commission he received in 1936, which was to design the building of the Ministry of Education and Health of Rio de Janeiro. One of his major works was to design the new capital of Brazil, Brasilia.  I write about him because he made the best designs for me in architecture, by making his form so complex and beautiful. In this way being better than his admiration Le Corbusier. And that's all for today, have a nice life.  Ruiza, M., Fernández, T. y Tamaro, E. (2004).  Biografia de Oscar Niemeyer . Blog 6: How Can Your Major/Career Make the World a Better Place

Imagen
Hello😁. Today I am going to talk about how my career can make the world a better place. My career can be focused on helping the well being of people so that they have spaces for their living and that is functional. In my case I want to focus on culture and be able to spread it. that is why I want to design museums with classic designs and organize their spaces for their good distribution and later presentation. Another thing I would like to do is to design stages and things like that to help the musical culture to better represent their music in a visual way. An example of this case is the stage of Ariana Grande's sweetener tour where there is a great route for Ari to move between several places with different people, also as it has different colors or shapes depending on each song. And that`s my blog for today. Thanks for reading. And see u soon.💕

Vegan Italian squash it´s not vegan food but my mother one day make a vegan version because my best friend come to my house and she is vegan and she really wanted an Italian squash for lunch. It´s a little bit difficult to make because requires a lot of ingredients. But is so delicious the combination of flavors. First cook the squash for 10 minutes in water, divide in two and with a spoon, remove the inside. Reserve both parts. In a hot pan, brown the meat or if is vegan the mushroom, and reserve. In the same pan cook some onion and garlic, if you wanna add some carrot and pippers. Add the meat and add the chopped vegetables. Cook for 10 minutes. Add the inside squash and continue cooking for 3 minutes. Reserve and chill. Mix the eggs and half of the parmesan with the meat mixture. Fill the cover squash and cover whit parmesan cheese. Bake for 15 minutes at 180º C. Accompany with some cooked rice. I like it so much because reminds me of my childhood because I eat a lot of squash ...

Blog 2: Why did I choose architecture?

Imagen
When I was a child I wanted to be a singer but then I realized that my voice is awful, after that I wanted to be an engineer but studying that requires a lot of science-related knowledge and I don`t understand those types of classes. For now, I don`t have other career options but I really like art, design, or something in those areas; anyway, sometimes I think about studying psychology because I have OCD (Obsessive compulsive disorder), I know a lot about it and I would like to help people with their problems. In high school, I usually thought about what I would like to be in the future. I remember thinking that my passion for art and my abilities in maths couldn’t be brought together in just one career until someone recommended me architecture, and that’s why I’m studying this career. My point of view on architecture this far is that it is very hard and exhausting but the things we do in “Taller”  are what I like to do, for example, drawing, designing, and creating models. On the ...
